Struggling to give her son the Christmas he deserves, Kate Shasta agrees to use her horses to drive Santa Claus in the Christmas Parade. The trouble is, her horses aren't broke to harness--yet. When Ted Cross, from the parade committee comes calling it might expose her fabrication--or give her a chance for love.
Widowed and struggling to keep alive the family horse breeding ranch, Kate Shasta finds herself offered a chance to earn money by using two of her horses to drive Santa Clause in the town’s Christmas parade. She accepts, even though none of her horses are truly broke to harness. She can train the horses—she hopes.
Enter Ted Cross, once a teenaged infatuation, now a handsome members of the town’s parade committee and apparently attracted to her. Will Ted’s attempts to woo Kate expose the desperate fabrication she told about the horses, or heal the vulnerability of Kate’s lonely heart.
